The Legacy
“鳥 means Bird. It is the only thing we serve, and we serve it perfectly.”
For thirty years, our family has cooked Japanese food in Georgia. A restaurant in one town, a grocery in another, a lifetime spent feeding people well. Tori is the next chapter, opened in Athens by someone who grew up inside that kitchen.
We never wanted a hundred menu items. We wanted one thing done completely right. Chicken, cooked the Japanese way: panko fried until it shatters, or grilled and glazed in teriyaki we make from scratch.
That is the whole idea, and that is the whole restaurant. One bird, one focus, one character: 鳥.
